OUR BIBLE TALK
This weekend we Jodie leads us from the beginning of Ephesians chapter six in a sermon called ‘Children and Slaves‘.
SPECIAL MEMBER’S MEETING
Our Parish Council decided last week that it would like to launch an OHSC (Outside of Hours School Care) ministry at our church, but first it wants the consent of a special general meeting of our parish. Please come along and find out more about the proposed ministry and help us make this decision. The meeting will be held in the church hall on Tuesday 1st December at 7pm.
Our church intends to borrow $70,000 for the purpose of improvements to our hall and grounds, including patio enclosure, outdoor equipment, safety improvements and professional fees so that our facilities might be made suitable for a potential out of hours school care ministry. To find out more please contact one of our Wardens. Any formal objections must be lodged with The Secretary, Sydney Anglican Loans, PO Box Q190 QVB Post Office NSW 1230 by 6th December 2020.
Our youth are heading off to Burrill Pines for our kickoff camp on 29-31 January, the first weekend of Term One next year! Put the date in your diary, ask all your friends, and get ready for an awesome weekend of growing together in God.
Our Interchurch Carols in the Park is not running this year, but we’re holding a special open-air Christmas Eve service here on our church grounds. Keep the night free and start to invite everyone you know!

Each week we need to receive $3100.00 in order to meet our commitments. In the last calendar month, our average weekly giving was $2793.00, leaving a gap of $307.00. Up to the end of the last calendar month we needed to have received $133,300. Compared to that total we received $137,447, leaving a gap of $-4,147.
Electronic giving is a great way to give! It helps us prayerfully plan our giving, and then the bank will help us keep that commitment, even when we may be unable to attend. To give by direct transfer then these are the details. Account name: Jamberoo Anglican Church. Account number: 10081274. BSB: 062562.
