This weekend we invite you to join us for our Vision Day on Saturday the 18th from 9am-1pm as we discuss and pray about the future for our church We will then hear Jodie speak from chapters 5 & 6 of Deuteronomy about a ten point vision for the future at both of our services. We would love for you to be part of this important time for our Jamberoo church family!

Each week we need to receive $6300.00 in order to meet our commitments. In the last calendar month, our average weekly giving was $5402.00, leaving a gap of $898.00. Olimometer 2.52 Up to the end of the last calendar month we needed to have received $81,900. Compared to that total we received $71,624, leaving a gap of $10,276.Olimometer 2.52

More Than Skin Deep Luke 17:11-19 with Leviticus 14:1-20 Graham Errington – 27-28 June 2020

1.  Ten Lepers  

Those who suffer from a serious skin disease must tear their clothing and leave their hair uncombed. They must cover their mouth and call out, ‘Unclean! Unclean!’ As long as the serious disease lasts, they will be ceremonially unclean. They must live in isolation in their place outside the camp.  Leviticus 13:45-46

AS they went, they were cleansed of their leprosy. vs 14 

Jesus wanted to see if any would make the ______ of coming back to _____ him. 

God’s children must also learn to say _____ ___ to their ________ father

2.  Who is saved? 

Jesus asked, “Didn’t I heal ten men? Where are the other nine? Has no one returned to give glory to God except this foreigner?”  vs 17-18

GOD’S ______ GRACE and GOD’S _______ GRACE 

GRACE = God’s __________ kindness to humans

God gives his sunlight to both the evil and the good, and he sends rain on the just and the unjust alike. Matthew 5:45

GOD’S COMMON GRACE and GOD’S SPECIAL GRACE 

God’s _______ grace is when God gives a blessing in answer to faith

God saved you by his grace when you believed. And you can’t take credit for this; it is a gift from God. 9 Salvation is not a reward for the good things we have done, so none of us can boast about it. Ephesians 2:8-9

And Jesus said to the man,  “Stand up and go; your faith healed you  vs 19 

In verse 14 the ten lepers were cleansed of their leprosy  But in verse 19 Jesus says to the one leper your faith has healed you 

Jesus ______ the ten lepers, but he _____ the Samaritan leper (the Greek word sozo means saves)

Jesus said to the woman (= the sinful woman) Your faith has saved you; go in peace.   Luke 7:50

Jesus said to her  (= to the woman who touched his cloak) Daughter, your faith has made you well (a version of the sozo word)  Go in peace Luke 8:48 

Instantly the man could see (= the blind man Bartimaus) and he followed Jesus, praising God  Luke 18:43

God _____ the tenth leper by his (God’s)  _____ when he believed. Ephesians 2:8

KITCHEN RENOVATION

The furniture is almost all installed, and the dishwasher arrived this week. Now we just need to finish the plumbing and we’re there! We’ve now received $14,300 in donations, and we’re only short $1,700 in total. Can you help us raise the final amount before the end of this month?

The Rich Man and Lazarus – Graham Errington – Luke 16:19-31 – 20-21 June 2020

This parable gives a picture of the _________ that all true ___________ of Abraham will share in one day.

But the rich man isn’t in ______ he is down in _____.

The rich man was in _____ (which means the place of the dead) waiting for his final __________ by God.
