This weekend we continue the series titled ‘Jesus is___’ as Jodie preaches on the topic ‘Jesus is… God’ from John chapter 1 verses 43 to 51.

At our 5pm Saturday service we will have an opportunity to meet one of our church members, which is always a great encouragement to us all.

Also during our 5pm Saturday service is the return of our popular weekly question and answer time, and Jodie will be answering these questions:

1. Is it ever OK for Christians to be angry?
2. Won’t it scare people away if we say that Jesus is bringing the fire of judgement?

Our 8am Sunday service will be a Holy Communion First Order AAPB service.

This weekend we welcome Michael Williamson, the director of Year 13. Michael will be talking on the topic ‘Shout for Joy to the Lord’ from Psalm 100.

At both our services, we will hear a special update, and see a presentation about Year 13, and all that the Christian gap year program provides.

This weekend we welcome the Assistant Minister from Oak Flats, Simon Chaplin, who is speaking on the topic ‘The Messiah and the Nations’ from Matthew chapter 15 verses 21 to 31.

We will also share the Lord’s Supper at 5pm Saturday, so be sure to join us for this important reminder of the death of Jesus.

This weekend Graham Errington will be speaking on the topic ‘Fear not, little flock’, from Luke chapter 12 verses 22 to 34.

Our 8am Sunday service will be the Lord’s Supper Sunday Service, and since it is the last days of 2017, we will be having a special time of prayer for the New Year.

A reminder that for this week only, there will be no dinner after the 5pm Saturday service, to let people go and celebrate the New Year with friends and family.

Simon will be speak on the topic “The Genealogy of Jesus” from Matthew chapter 1 verses 1 to 17.. We’re going to have a ‘meet the member’ bit during church, so we’ll all get to know each other just a little bit better. This service will be a Morning Prayer Sunday service.
