PARISH COUNCIL

Our next Parish Council meeting will be on Tuesday 24th March at 7pm via Zoom online.

NEW LEADERS

Join us in giving thanks to God for our new Wardens, James Rosten, Paul Massey and Rick Smith. Our new elected Parish Councillors are Sharon Lyall, Di Thompson, Luke Warner, Peter Gibson, Sam Mierendorff and Adam Rosten, with two more to be chosen by Jodie. Our Synod Representative is Paul Massey.

GIVING UPDATE

Each week we need to receive $6300.00 in order to meet our commitments. In the last calendar month, our average weekly giving was $5402.00, leaving a gap of $898.00.  Up to the end of the last calendar month we needed to have received $81,900. Compared to that total we received $71,624, leaving a gap of $10,276.

Our AGM meeting for 2020 will be this Tuesday 10th of March at 7pm. All are invited to this key time of celebration and forward inspiration, and an opportunity to elect Wardens and Parish Councillors.

FIT FOR PURPOSE

We’re gathering a group of men to do jobs around our church property, to keep it fit for its purpose, and to grow as Christians who are fit for the purpose of following Jesus. OUR BIBLE TALK

This weekend, we have special guest Moussa Ghazal speaking to us and asking the question “Where is God in the bushfires?” This is a not-to-be-missed event that will help us understand more about the place of suffering in God’s world, and how it is that we can understand tragedy in the light of a good and sovereign God.

Next weekend, we have another special guest, Wycliffe (Wicky) Onyango, coming to speak and give an update on KBECET.
