Church News for the week beginning 1st March 2020
OUR BIBLE TALK
This week we will have Jodie lead us as we start a new two-week series ‘Know and Tell the Gospel‘, as we look at the first topic: ‘Know the Gospel’. This is an ideal opportunity for us to be very clear about the basics of what we believe, so we can easily know it and share it with others.
MISSION OF THE MONTH
Our mission of the month is Anglicare. You can support the Anglicare ministry by donating and buying from the mission table in the hall
NEW ROSTERS
Rosters for March/April have been published online on Elvanto.
FIT FOR PURPOSE
We’re gathering a group of men to do jobs around our church property, to keep it fit for its purpose, and to grow as Christians who are fit for the purpose of following Jesus. Our next gathering will be this Wednesday 4th March at 8am at the church. Speak to Graham Errington for more details. We’d love you to join us!

An opportunity to collaborate with the makers, producers, craftspeople and others in our village and valley. Friday 6th March at 6pm in the church hall.

Our next working bee will be on Saturday 7th March at 8am. We would love for you to enjoy some fun fellowship with us as we improve and maintain our church grounds and buildings.
AGM
Our AGM meeting for 2020 will be on the Tuesday 10th of March at 7pm. All are invited to this key time of celebration and forward inspiration, and an opportunity to elect Wardens and Parish Councillors.

GIVING UPDATE
Each week we need to receive $6300.00 in order to meet our commitments. In the last calendar month, our average weekly giving was $5675.00, leaving a gap of $625.00. Up to the end of the last calendar month we needed to have received $273,000. Compared to that total we received $245,588, leaving a gap of $27,412.
Electronic giving is a great way to give! It helps us prayerfully plan our giving, and then the bank will help us keep that commitment, even when we may be unable to attend. To give by direct transfer then these are the details. Account name: Church of England Jamberoo. Account number: 10081274. BSB: 062562.
