Coming up this weekend 6-7 February 2021
This weekend we have Jodie McNeill speaking to us from 1 Kings 1:1-53 as we start our brand new series called ‘Power and Hope’. This week we’re looking at how the frailty of King David points us to the hope of King Jesus, and how God will put his king on his throne.
To catch up on previous sermons, head to our Youtube channel youtube.jamberooanglican.com.
If you have any questions, simply fill out a response slip during the service, email us at office@jamberooanglican.com or send an SMS to 0439 890 086.
Here are the questions that Jodie plans to answer this weekend:
1 If it’s bad to boast, then why does James 1:9 seem to allow it?
2 Do Jonah’s words sabotage God’s prophesy to destroy Ninevah?
3 Should single Christians be encouraged to get married?
4 Should married Christians be encouraged to have children?
5 How can we know that the resurrection is true?
6 What would you say to someone who said that Christians are gullible?
Join us on Saturday at 5pm where after church we’ll have dinner together, followed by ‘Nightlife’ until 9pm for all ages.
Or join us Sunday at 9am where we’ll gather for church, and then after will have fellowship over morning tea and tasty espresso!
Our kids program returns this week! We have our Joey’s program for toddlers through to preschool, Junior Roos for school years K to 2, and Senior Roos for school years 3 to 6. Our service is live streamed to the TV in the creche room so if you need to stay with your child, you can still hear the sermon.
If you can’t make it in person, head to watch.jamberooanglican.com to watch our livestream.
