Coming up this Sunday 10th December 2023
This Sunday we are going to be hearing from God’s word as Jodie McNeill continues our series on Malachi called ‘The Message of the King,’ as he looks at Malachi 2:17-3:15 the title, ‘Return to the King.’
During our Sunday services we’ll also be having a special celebration and farewell for Jacob and Jemimah Mierendorff (although they’re still with us till Christmas Day.)
After our 9 am service we’ll be enjoying brunch together, and after our 4 pm service we’ll be having dinner.
We’d love you to join us in-person if you’re able, or watch our livestream at watch.jamberooanglican.com.
Here are the questions you’ve asked that Jodie plans to answer during church this Sunday:
1 Do Roman Catholics have more books of the Bible than us?
2 Will people who attend non-Anglican churches be saved?
3 What does being fearful of God look like?
4 If a leader has led others to stumble, should they stop leading?
5 How do we not show favouritism to the poor?
6 Did Solomon literally have hundreds of wives?
7 If the Holy Spirit was hovering over the waters (Genesis 1:2) when did God create the sea?
8 How can Christ live in us (Colossians 3:11) when the Holy Spirit is already in us?
9 Can we trust the Bible if it appears to have errors and is hard to translate?
10 Was there Christmas before Jesus was born?
Sorry that we weren’t able to fit in all the questions this week, but if you have one you’d like answered, then email us and we’ll put it on the list for future weeks.
See you on Sunday, God willing!
