Service Times

Sunday’s Sermon
This weekend we are going to be hearing from God’s word as Tony Galea preaches to us from Mark 8 with the title “Requirement of the King.”
Next Sermon Series
Tony will take us through the book of 1 John, starting next week.
New Government
Please be prayerful for our newly elected government, that they govern with fairness and compassion, ensuring the needs of all Australians are supported.
Kid’s Church
During the sermon all children are welcome to head across to the hall for Kids Church, where the teaching will follow the same pattern as the sermon series.
Friday Kids and Youth
Each Friday during term we meet for our kids and youth groups of SPARK (Years 3 to 6) at 4:30-6pm, and Youth Group (Years 7 to 12) from 7-9pm at the church hall.

Praise and Prayer Time
Following on from the Hope for the Illawarra event, there will be a Praise and Prayer time for the combined churches of our area on May 6th, 5:30-6:30pm at Shellharbour Community Church, 500 Shellharbour Rd. The aim of this time is to praise God for his work in people’s lives and for the unity in Jesus across the Illawarra. See Steve Bligh for more info.

Parish Council is meeting on May 13th. Please be prayerful for the Council to make wise and godly decisions for our church.
Book of the Month
Our book of the month for May is “Gathered Together: The Beauty of Living as God’s Church “ by Karl Deenick. Karl explores the biblical vision of the church, with emphasis on its identity as God’s gathered people, its purpose in loving God and neighbor, and the joy and commitment of being an active member of a local church community.
