Sunday’s Sermon

This weekend we are going to be hearing from God’s word as Brad Vidilini preaches to us from Mark 14:1-26 with the title “The Greatest Meal.“

Friday Kids and Youth

Each Friday during term we meet at the church hall for our kids club SPARK (Years K to 6) at 4:30-6 pm, and Youth Group (Years 7 to 12) from 7-9 pm.

Commencement Service for Rev. Ron Irving

On Saturday 1 November at 2 pm, we will officially welcome Ron and Julie Irving as our new rector at a Commencement Service led by Bishop Peter Hayward. Please save the date, as there will be opportunities to serve and celebrate together. More details to come.

Ron and Julie Irving’s Open House

Ron and Julie move into the Rectory late September in preparation for Ron beginning as Minister on October 27. Before they head off on holidays, they’d love to welcome you and take the chance to get to know you. Drop in anytime between 2pm – 4pm on Saturday, 27th of September — no RSVP needed!

Book of the Month

Our book of the month for August is “Angels” by Tim Chester. “Angels” explores what the Bible truly teaches about angels – their nature, their role as God’s messengers, and their place in pointing us to Jesus rather than being objects of worship themselves. Tim grounds his insights firmly in Scripture and encourages us to understand the spiritual realm with clarity, discouraging both obsession with and ignorance of angels. The book is helpful in daily life by offering comfort in knowing God’s care is active – sometimes through angels – and by reminding us that our focus should be on Christ, supported by a greater spiritual reality.

Spark Kids Club + Anglicare Food Drive!

On Friday 26th September, during Spark (4:30pm-6:pm), we’re heading to IGA on a mission; to shop for food that will go straight to families doing it tough. This is a fun and meaningful way for kids to get involved! Why not encourage them to do a few extra chores or tasks this week to earn money for the food drive.

Invite a Friend to Church

19th of October is an opportunity to invite a friend. Tony will be especially preaching at the 9am & 4pm services with unbelievers in mind. Take up the opportunity. Please pray or your friends.

Tony’s Away

Due to unforeseen circumstances, Tony will not be able to attend the 4pm service over the next 4 weeks. He will be back for 2 weeks after that.
