Nourish normally meets Thursdays from 9:30 to 11:30am in the church hall, but is taking a break until 27th April.

KIDS AND YOUTH

Our Friday Spark and Youth programs will be taking a break until 28th April. We’ll continue to have a kids’ talk during our normal Sunday services during the holidays.

AFRICA MINISTRY

APRIL BOOKS OF THE MONTH

‘The Pilgrim’s Progress’ by John Bunyan, AND ‘Little Pilgrim’s Progress’ by Helen L. Taylor.

This month we have two books! This way experienced and younger readers can enjoy this month’s book.

The Pilgrim’s Progress is a vividly imagined allegory that follows the adventures of a young everyman named Christian as he undertakes the perilous journey from the City of Destruction to the Celestial City.

The Little Pilgrim’s Progress takes John Bunyan’s Pilgrim’s Progress and simplifies the vocabulary and concepts for young readers, while keeping the storyline intact.

Rosaria Butterfield invites us into her home to show us how God can use this same “radical, ordinary hospitality” to bring the gospel to our lost friends and neighbours.

Such hospitality sees our homes as not our own, but as God’s tools for the furtherance of his kingdom as we welcome those who look, think, believe, and act differently from us into our everyday, sometimes messy lives—helping them see what true Christian faith really looks like.

JEREMY BEAZLEY’S BAPTISM

Jeremy Beazley is getting baptised during our 4pm service and we are looking forward to celebrating this special occasion with the Beazley’s family and friends.

INTRODUCING SPARK

Our all-new midweek Kids’ ministry kicked off on Friday 3rd February from 4:30-6pm. It’s for Year 3 to 6 kids, and it’s a space where older primary children can explore the Bible, and start or grow a relationship with Jesus.

NOURISH RETURNS

Our Nourish ministry returns this coming Thursday 9th February at 9:30am in the hall... a great time for women to meet, encourage and pray other women over an enjoyable morning tea. Bring along some craft if you’ve got some… or just chat!

NSW ELECTION CANDIDATE’S FORUM

Our church is hosting a Candidate’s Forum for the seat of Kiama. Join us to hear from the major candidates for the 2023 NSW Election speaking on issues important to the Christian community, and answering your questions. Tuesday 21st February at 7pm with livestream. All are welcome.

LOVELLS NIGHT CANCELLED
