This weekend we continue a mini-series called ‘Know and Tell the Gospel’. Jodie will be speaking on the topic “The power of the gospel”, from Romans chapter 1 verses 8 to 17.
It’s also the right time for us to recognise many of the needs of our missionaries, so we’ll have a special report about what’s been happening in the lives of our partners in global, word ministry.
Our 8am Sunday service will be Lord’s Supper Sunday Service.
If you’re wanting to check out our church we’d really love you to visit us on Saturday at 5pm for a contemporary service with kids’ program and dinner afterwards, or come along on Sunday at 8am for a prayerbook service.
If you can’t make it in person, you’re welcome to jump online to watch the service (with the same sermon and many other items) at www.oakflats.tv.
Coming up this weekend 21st – 22nd May 2016
This weekend is the perfect time to be back to church. We’d love you to join us!
At our 5pm Saturday service we have Matt Straw speaking on the topic “Real Hope, Real Jesus” from Luke chapter 24 verses 36 to 48. After the service we’re hosting a FREE chops, chips and chocolate night. Join us for a free BBQ meal, with salads, hot chips, and a chocolate fountain with marshmallows and fruit, followed by free espresso coffee. It’s a great contemporary church service for people of all ages, and includes a special kids’ program.
If you’d prefer a more traditional service, then come along at 8am on Sunday morning. We have John Hanlen speaking on the topic ” The Real Problem” from Mark chapter 2 verses 1 to 10. This is a prayer book service with great hymns and time for reflection.
So, come along at 5pm on Saturday or 8am on Sunday and hang out with us at 45 Churchill Street.
Coming up this weekend 14th – 15th May 2016
This weekend, as part of our ‘Come Alive Week’, we’re hosting 24 Moore College students for eight days to help us connect with the village and valley of Jamberoo and to talk about the real hope in the real Jesus at our weekend services as well as many other events throughout the week.
This week, we’re up for a treat as Mitch Herps, a Moore College student, speaks on the topic “Meeting the man who calmed the storm” from Mark chapter 4 verses 35 to 41.
Our 8am Sunday service will be Morning Prayer, Sunday Service.
Every week is a great weekend to come along if you’re not yet a believer in Jesus, but the next two are especially good, because we’re going to be making it crystal clear about how to put your trust in Jesus and know the real hope only he can provide.
