Our weekend services are at 5pm Saturday and 9am Sunday at 45 Churchill Street, Jamberoo.

Coming up this Sunday 19th February 2023

This Sunday we are going to be hearing from God’s word as Jodie McNeill preaches to us from 1 Corinthians 7:1-16 on ‘Marriage Matters’.

After our 9am service we’ll be enjoying brunch together, and after our 4pm service we’ll be having dinner.

We’d love you to join us in-person if you’re able, or watch our livestream at watch.jamberooanglican.com.

Here are the questions that Jodie plans on answering this Sunday:

1 Is sexual sin more serious than other sins?
2 Does our sin actually make God ‘unclean?’
3 Why do we obey some laws in Leviticus but not others?
4 Why wasn’t Abram punished for sleeping with his wife’s servant?
5 What should we say to non-Christians about sexual sin?
6 Why did Paul hand some people over to Satan? (1 Timothy 1:20)
7 How should we manage conflict when the other person think they’ve done nothing wrong?
8 Are Christians now God’s slaves, and if so, is that good? (1 Corinthians 6:19-20)
9 When should a school kid use force to defend themselves from physical attacks?
10 Because Jesus was both sinless and God, did that make his temptations easier to resist?

Here are the questions that Jodie plans to answer this Sunday:

1 Where does it say in the Old Testament that Christians will judge the world?
2 Will all Christians judge the world or will it only be the apostles?
3 Why should we judge people when Jesus says not to cast the first stone (John 8:7)?
4 If someone else is suffering wrong then should we stand up for them (1 Corinthians 6:7)?
5 How does it look to take a person’s sin to the whole church then treat them as an unbeliever?
6 How do we hold each other accountable so that we can confess sins to each other and repent?
7 How should we deal with sins in others that are private and unseen?
8 Why are we acknowledging the Wodi Wodi people and not other past and current custodians?
9 When should people start giving the pledges they made last year to put Brad on staff?
10 What happened this week with the Church of England?

We’re really looking forward to seeing you on Sunday!
