About Us
Jamberoo Anglican is a Bible-based and Christ-centred community church in the Kiama region of New South Wales, Australia, about an hour and a half south of the city of Sydney.
We’ve got people here of all ages, from babies to oldies, and we welcome anyone who wants to hear about being alive with Christ, as we hear him speak to us through the words of the Bible by the power of his Holy Spirit to the great glory of God the father.
We’re part of the Anglican Diocese of Sydney which means we’re connected with thousands of other Christians in the Illawarra and Sydney who share the common goal of telling the whole universe about how awesome is the real hope found in the real Jesus.
On Sundays we meet at 9am and 4pm, and our services are held at 45 Churchill Street, Jamberoo.
We’ve also got lots of groups that meet during the week, from toddlers to seniors, and we’re sure we’ve got a group that you’ll fit into perfectly.

Our Values
At Jamberoo Anglican Church we have six values that give us unique flavour.
We are an evangelical church with a long history of proclaiming the gospel of the Risen Lord Jesus.
We hold the view that God has made men and women together in his image for his glory, and that he has created them differently with the desire that they play different roles in church life. This means that whilst men and women will both lead our Sunday services, we choose to have only men preach to our mixed congregational gatherings.
As members of the Anglican Church of Australia, Diocese of Sydney, we subscribe to the thirty-Nine Articles of the Anglican Church and the Book of Common Prayer as the guide for orderly gatherings and a practical distillation of doctrine as revealed in Holy Scripture.
Our Church contains a rich history that in God’s kindness has spanned the last 178 years.
