Our weekend services are at 5pm Saturday and 9am Sunday at 45 Churchill Street, Jamberoo.

Coming up this weekend 12-13th June 2021

This weekend Jodie will be preaching on 1 Kings chapters 20-21 as he considers, ‘The Failure of Politics’. Even with the greatest of intentions, we see that seeking to solve the world’s problems without Jesus will only end up in frustration… but there is hope!

Join us Saturday at 5pm and dinner afterwards, followed by our ‘Nightlife’ fun from 8pm. Or Sunday morning at 9am, followed by morning tea and hot espresso. We can’t wait to have you join us!

If you have any questions, simply fill out a response slip during the service, email us at office@jamberooanglican.com or send an SMS to 0439 890 086. Jodie is looking forward to answering these questions from the last few weeks:

1 Is it okay to swear by the name of the Lord?
2 Should we ask for signs from God?
3 Did Elijah not sin because he survived meeting the Lord?
4 What is confirmation, and how and why should a person get confirmed?
5 In what sense are we Jesus’ adopted brothers and sisters?
6 What is the difference between trials and temptations, and what is God’s role in each?
7 Does God speak in other ways than by Bible teaching or reading?
8 How old is Jesus?

Our kids’ ministry programs run at both services. We would love to watch your children, from babies to Year 6, and have them join our leaders in a time of fun and learning. The livestream will continue on the TV in the hall so if you need to stay with your child, you won’t miss out on church.

If you can’t make it in person, head to watch.jamberooanglican.com to watch our livestream. To catch up on previous sermons, head to our Youtube channel youtube.jamberooanglican.com.

1 Since the Bible has spiritual wars, does this mean that war is OK?
2 If we trust in the Lord, do we have the ability to bring a dead person back to life?
3 Why was the widow-woman commended by God when she said his name in vain?
4 How much should we love our abuser if it means we risk further abuse?
5 Who did Cain think would kill him? Who else was alive at the time?
6 Would everyone have originally spoken the same language?
7 Is it wrong to pray to Jesus since he taught us to pray to Our Father in Heaven?
8 What are some practical ways to teach and show our children about God?

1 If God destroyed all of Jeroboam’s family, how was Nadab still alive?
2 How could God be happy for the children of the evil king to be killed?
3 If the people in Jeroboam’s time didn’t have a Bible, how did they know God’s word?
4 How does the conflict in the time of Kings relate to the present conflict in Israel?
5 When Christians have an evil king today, should they obey that authority?
6 Is it more sinful to kill someone or to order someone else to kill on your behalf?
7 How can a person forgive someone who has abused them?
8 Do we have to be reconciled to a continually divisive person (Titus 3:10)?
9 If a person doesn’t want kids, should they not get married?
10 How should we share the word of God with people who are transgender?
