Church News for the week beginning 7th June
OUR BIBLE TALK
This week we will hear the talk titled ‘Revealing Evil’, as Jodie leads us from chapters 17-20 of Revelation. To watch the livestream of our services, simply head to watch.jamberooanglican.com
MORNING PRAYER DAILY
Every morning (except Sunday) we come together at 7.30am for a half-hour prayer time at zoom.jamberooanglican.com as we pray for our church and our world.
MISSION OF THE MONTH
Our mission of the month is CMS. To support this great ministry visit cms.org.au or call (02) 9284 6777 to talk to a member of their team.
PARISH COUNCIL
The next Parish Council meeting will be held in the church hall (or Zoom if needed) on Tuesday 9th June at 7pm.
KITCHEN RENOVATION
The walls and floor are all done, and next week the shelving, benches and appliances arrive. We’ve received $9,500 plus a new freezer and microwave, and now need another $2,500 for shelving, benches, and other appliances. We’d also love a commercial dishwasher, which will cost another $5,000. Can you help?
LIVESTREAMING
To assist those who are unable to join us in person, our church services will continue to be live-streamed. If you’d prefer not to be filmed, please sit on the left of the church and avoid the front four pews.

GIVING UPDATE
During May we fell a bit short in our giving, but we understand that the challenges of not gathering in our building have made it hard for some of you to get your financial gifts to us for our ministry here in our village, valley and beyond. This weekend we’ll have a way for you to bring financial gifts along to our church building during our services, if you’ve not been able to organise direct giving.
Each week we need to receive $6300.00 in order to meet our commitments. In the last calendar month, our average weekly giving was $5882.00, leaving a gap of $418.00. Up to the end of the last calendar month we needed to have received $245,700. Compared to that total we received $221,466, leaving a gap of $24,234.
Electronic giving is a great way to give! It helps us prayerfully plan our giving, and then the bank will help us keep that commitment, even when we may be unable to attend. To give by direct transfer then these are the details. Account name: Church of England Jamberoo. Account number: 10081274. BSB: 062562.
